The Growatt MID 29.9-50K-HU is a three-phase hybrid inverter line made for commercial and industrial solar projects, covering 29.9kW to 50kW. It blends solar generation with high-voltage battery readiness, letting you begin grid-tied and add storage later without changing the inverter.
The series comes with 3 or 4 MPPT trackers depending on the model, each handling two PV strings at 40A max input. The 50kW version supports up to 100kW of PV and a 200–1,000V MPPT range, which suits large rooftops with shading or mixed orientations.
It pairs with Growatt’s APX high-voltage batteries (600–980V). A built-in backup function switches from grid to off-grid in under 150ms, keeping critical loads running during outages with no external box needed. Maximum efficiency reaches 98.6%, European efficiency 97.2%. The unit includes Type II SPD on both DC and AC sides, optional AFCI, and an IP66 enclosure for indoor or outdoor use. The 50kW model measures 680 × 570 × 256 mm and weighs 50kg.
